Merry Christmas!  No travel this year.  It is very nice to just kick back.  My latest sign of getting better is that I want to clean up spaces.  I decluttered the corner of the kitchen where wine, coke, and containers without bottoms or lids.  For example.  Don said that my Christmas present to him this year was my mental improvement.  To me it is miraculous.  I bought a few nice items for him, that puzzled him.
I made dinner rolls today for the first time.  They are OK.  If I ever make them again, they will be greatly improved.  They don't look like the gorgeous Parker rolls that Myrtle made though.

First Post

I am toying with doing a blog.  Just for me.  At least at first.  This week has been good. Monday an appraiser came to do Eula's house.  Low key, nice guy. Papers come next week. Tuesday I had an appointment with a - I hope - new psychiatrist.  My previous one retired in June.  Since I was running low on meds, I had to get serious.  At this point, current meds are doing the job.

I was 30 minutes late to the appoint because I wrote it down wrong.  But he could see me an hour later.  Near tears, but got it together and gave bequest checks to Sandra The Lawyer, did an errand at Home Depot, and had an In-n-out burger.  Time well spent.  The psychiatrist -- I was worried because his picture looked like an Italian mobster and he doesn't take insurance -- but he was accepting new patients.  There aren't enough shrinks in Tucson for the need.  Anyway,  I like him a lot.  It is hard to catch someone up on the dark times, when it is somewhat blurry for me even.  But he was engaged, understood and offered interesting ideas on where to go from here.

In the evening we went with Herb and Bea to a lovely Irish music concert.  Something we would not have done on our own, but loved when we did it.
